Tyler Paytas serves as Talent Director on the Global Project Management Platform team, focusing on strategic initiatives to recruit, retain and develop world class Project Management talent. In this role, Tyler supports the facilitation of recruiting efforts for the U.S. at all levels of Project Management, with a specific emphasis on leadership-oriented roles and large personnel initiatives. He partners with our network of recruiters and business leaders to facilitate improved talent identification and sourcing throughout all levels of our organization. His responsibilities include actively building and maintaining sources of world class talent, optimization of internal talent supply and demand, enhancing our use of data analytics, and advancing areas of learning and development. His success is measured through timely talent sourcing, ensuring our professionals are in positions to succeed, and exceptional client outcomes delivered through world class talent.
Most recently, Mr. Paytas served as our Director of Project Management services in the greater Kansas City Local Market Area. In this role, he provided his clients with executive leadership on construction projects varying extensively in scale and complexity. His thorough knowledge of project planning, design management, construction administration, cost management and occupancy integration resulted in successful projects from development to completion. Tyler emphasized the development of stakeholder relationships by understanding and managing to his client’s expectations and performance goals.
Prior to leading our Kansas City business, Tyler spent six years working within CBRE’s dedicated Global Corporate Services business. During his tenure, he managed a wide range of projects varying in size and type for a variety of clients, including ExxonMobil, Microsoft and MultiCare Health System. Such assignments included: the development and integration of a ground-up, freestanding emergency department & imaging campus; a portfolio of outpatient clinic build-outs, inpatient renovations, and campus master planning; the Microsoft West Campus project, Microsoft’s largest campus expansion project; and approximately $165M in capital investment on behalf of ExxonMobil along the eastern U.S. coast.
