Thomas Lloyd is Senior Managing Director of Investor Services in the New York City market. Tom represents CBRE lines of businesses for a $15 billion client portfolio of local and global investor owners of office, retail and industrial assets. Having detailed knowledge of the New York City market, Tom partners with CBRE function leaders to manage and lease assets that are acquired and owned by investors, developers, private equity firms, banking institutions, REIT’s and pension funds. Tom has expertise in property management and operational strategic planning in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut markets. In tandem with leading CBRE’s existing and prospective investor client relationships, Tom plays an integral role in the offering of CBRE’s Project Management business that conducts capital improvement programs, investment repositioning, and interior construction management services.
With more than 20 years of management experience, Tom has deep expertise in working with property owners, partners, investors, contractors and property consultants. Tom focuses on maximizing asset value and increasing a portfolio’s valuation through gains in revenue and reduction of costs.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2016, Tom was Senior Director at Tishman Speyer, where he was responsible for the daily management of a $21 billion Class A office portfolio in the Northeastern U.S. including iconic assets such as New York’s Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building and the MetLife Building. He led operational investment analysis, due diligence and subsequent integration of 7 million square feet of new office acquisitions and developments. Tom first joined Tishman Speyer in 2004 as Director within the global property management group.
Mr. Lloyd graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego, and holds finance and real estate professional certifications from New York University. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York
