Tom leads and facilitates the implementation of technology solutions on the BP account that correspond with process improvements and/or efficiency enhancements. He collaborates across all service lines on the account to identify where technology can add value or simplify within their business structure. As a Network Resource, Tom supports the CBRE managed BP locations of Houston, Chicago, and Calgary. One of Tom’s key responsibilities is to drive consistency and leverage best practices across the account as it relates to technology.
Tom started with CBRE in 1995 on the Dow Chemical account in Midland, MI as the Technology and Customer Service Manager. While on the Dow account, he became the Manager of Administrative Services, then a Facility Manager, until he transferred in 2005 to Dow in Houston, TX as the Facility Manager. In late 2007 Tom transitioned to the BP account in Houston as the Technology Platform Leader. During the 20 years with CBRE, Tom has successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets with several different teams ranging from Call Centers to Mail Shipping/Receiving and Trucking to Union operations staff.
Prior to CBRE, Tom coordinated the installation of several computer labs and the first internet feed into Delta University of Michigan where he obtained a degree in Information Technology.
