Tom works closely with his US based team to design and implement facility maintenance management programs for JCPenney’s 107 million square foot, 1066 store portfolio. In addition, he works diligently to monitor the effectiveness of his team, and provides value by leveraging maintenance management and business intelligence technology to ensure work is completed in accordance with account expectations.
As the Account Operations Director, Tom provides thought leadership and management oversight for a staff of nearly 200 including 33 Directors, Managers, and Support personnel, and 166 Mobile Engineering technicians. He actively engages his team to ensure high levels of service performance; valuing and advocating safety, compliance, professionalism, and integrity.
Tom has over 20 years of professional engineering and operations experience in nuclear and fossil power generation, biotechnology, and biopharmaceutical research and development industries. He is well known for inspiring others and thriving in challenging environments with direct experience in leading change during early company startup, company merger and acquisition, and corporate restructure.
Tom is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional and holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Cal State Long Beach, an Executive MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State College.
