Professional Experience  

Prior to joining CBRE, Ted was a principal with MHCA for three years, where he advised clients on over $1 billion of structured financings (construction and mezzanine loans, preferred and equity investments and pre-sales). Prior to MHCA, Ted spent seven years with DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners (Credit Suisse), responsible for West Coast acquisitions. During his tenure with Credit Suisse, he helped lead the underwriting, due diligence and acquisitions teams, and on-going asset management for approximately $350 million of equity investments, with over $1 billion of total asset value. Transactions included residential, retail and office development projects; residential and retail land acquisitions and entitlements; note purchases; and hotel and office acquisitions. Ted was also a participating member of the Investment Committee. Prior to Credit Suisse, Ted was with Latham & Watkins, practicing law in the Finance and Real Estate Department.
 
Mr. Fentin has an MBA from Columbia Business School, a J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
