Steven K. Winters has been a veteran in the retail real estate industry since 1991. He joined CBRE in 2013 as Vice President upon the acquisition of Fameco Real Estate, L.P., the New Jersey and Philadelphia regions’ leading brokerage firm specializing in retail real estate and the shopping center industry. Steven joined Fameco in 2008 as a director and assisted with opening the CBRE FAMECO central New Jersey office. He brings a wealth of experience in many disciplines, including investor and occupier leasing services, sales, development layout and design, and consulting on behalf of retailers as well as retail and mixed-use property owners and developers.
Steven has completed transactions securing millions of square feet valued in excess of $1 billion. Owners and developers that have successfully worked with Steven include Catellus/TPG, Invesco, Garden Commercial, H. Hovnanian, The Archon Group, Principal Global, Kimco, Kaplan Companies, The Brunetti Organization, The Lightstone Group, SL Green, ARC Properties and Crow Holdings. He has also completed deals with many retail concepts including: Costco, Lowe’s Home Improvement, L.A. Fitness, A&P, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Gold’s Gym, Metro Self Storage, ShopRite, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreen’s and TD Bank, to name a few.
Prior to joining FAMECO, Steven was a director in the retail brokerage division of the Schultz Organization, LLC, now Onyx Equities. Steven is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and donates his time to the Building Committee of his synagogue, Congregation Torat El.
