Since entering the real estate valuation profession in 1985, Scott Henningsen has developed significant valuation and real property advisory knowledge and experience from exposure to many different facets of the profession. Prior to joining CBRE
, Scott was the Managing Director, Greater Oregon Market for Grubb & Ellis, and also spent 23 years at a Portland, Oregon commercial appraisal and consulting firm, with over 15 years as owner/partner of that firm. In addition to working in the competitive fee shop environment as a commercial appraiser, Scott was also a Senior Review Appraiser with U.S. Bank, and more recently a reviewing Vice President in the Real Estate Valuation Services department at Umpqua Bank. The majority of Scott’s appraisal assignments and reviews have involved properties in the Pacific Northwest, with the concentration of work involving real estate valuation assignments in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Scott’s experience includes assignments with a wide variety of clients on diverse issues pertaining to real property, including: fee appraisal assignments for most commercial property types; third-party appraisal review and appraisal review advisory services; expert witness and testimony for litigation support; and mediation and arbitration services for attorneys, property owners and other appraisers. Golf course valuation in the Pacific Northwest is one of Scott’s specialty areas, with appraisals ranging from small 9-hole courses to 45-hole multi-course facilities, as well as both private courses and daily fee operations.
