Professional Experience

Scott Brady is an Executive Vice President and Co-Manager for CBRE Nashville’s Debt and Structured Finance Group. Mr. Brady works extensively on construction financing, tax increment financing (TIF), gap/bridge financing, permanent financing, mezzanine financing, and joint venture/preferred equity assignments. Mr. Brady’s transactional experience is extensive, totaling over $5 billion during his 18-year commercial real estate finance career.

Since joining CBRE in 2007, Mr. Brady’s primary focus has been sourcing debt and equity for multifamily and commercial clients, and originating new sources of debt and equity for CBRE’s clientele. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Brady managed Fifth Third Bank’s Middle Tennessee Commercial and Residential Real Estate Department and held senior loan production positions with SunTrust Bank, National Bank of Commerce, and SouthTrust Bank.

Together with business partner K.O. Kennedy, Mr. Brady’s annual structured finance production is approximately $1 billion to $1.3 billion, translating to over $1.50 billion worth of real estate transactions every year. He has been named a “Top 225 Producer” within CBRE nationwide and a member of the “Million Dollar Club” during 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. The Nashville office, managed by Scott and K.O. Kennedy, was also granted CBRE’s national “Top Office” award in 2013.

In addition to being a National Top Producer for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, Mr. Brady’s clients also benefit from his extensive network of additional capital sources including HUD, Life Insurance Company, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS), foreign and domestic banks, specialty bridge lenders, and private/preferred equity. In recognition of holding primary market share within Tennessee, Mr. Brady and Mr. Kennedy have proudly been granted numerous exclusive correspondent relationships with major life insurance companies across the United States, which translates to exclusive financing options for their clientele.
