In September 2018, CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) acquired CB Richard Ellis-N.E. Partners, L.P. (CBRE/New England), a long-standing joint venture with Whittier Partners Group and the leading full-service commercial real estate services operation in New England.
Roy Sandeman joined the CBRE New England Consulting Group in 2018 and serves as a Vice President. The team provides a broad range of services including investment sales, equity placement, structured financing, and strategic advisory work. Roy is responsible for valuation analysis and transaction execution in the office, R&D and industrial space.
Prior to joining CBRE, Roy was a Vice President on Transwestern | RBJ's Capital Markets team, a company he served for 7.5 years.
Roy has transacted more than over $1 billion in total sales transactions in office, industrial and life science properties, and has received several awards including CBA's Industrial Deal of the Year. He has worked as the landlord representative on many of suburban Boston's largest recent sales, including the sale of 190 Mechanic Street in Bellingham for $25.1 million on behalf of Guggenheim Partners; One Beeman Road in Northborough for $33.35 million on behalf of Stockbridge Real Estate; and 830 Winter Street in Waltham for $104.2 million on behalf of Intercontinental Real Estate.
Roy has worked in the United Kingdom, Norway and the United States and volunteers with many initiatives, including youth soccer. Prior to his commercial real estate career, Roy played professional soccer in the United Kingdom.
