Robert Frank is a Senior Vice President within Debt & Structured Finance, a division of CBRE Capital Markets. Debt & Structured Finance focuses on the debt and equity placement for institutional and private owners, occupiers, and developers of real estate.
Mr. Frank has extensive experience in the origination, structuring and placement of real estate debt for life insurance companies, pension, agencies, and Wall Street sources as well as arranging and structuring joint venture equity for the acquisition or development of commercial real estate.
Mr. Frank was a founding officer in the original L. J. Melody & Company in 1978 in Houston, Texas. He returned to his native Dallas to open the first branch of L. J. Melody that year. In 2001, Mr. Frank was given the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association. Over the years he has been involved in the financing of many significant CBD and suburban office buildings as well as shopping malls and other various property types.
