Rick Krause brings over thirty years of experience in the commercial real estate arena as an investor, owner and commercial broker to his clients and customers. He is well-versed in multi-family housing as well as other income producing properties. Rick has successfully executed multiple tax deferred exchanges and structured sales for himself and his clients. He has a keen understanding of the tax implications associated with these types of transactions. He also has an in depth knowledge of the complex issues associated with property taxes in the State of Iowa.
Rick has assisted many clients on unique exit strategies to help them preserve their wealth as they move out of actively managing investment property.
Over the past 17 years Rick, along with Cy Fox and Ray Hamilton have created a unique marketing system to sell investment property in Iowa. As a team they are recognized as the top multi-family sales brokerage group in Iowa. In the past 24 months they have sold over 2,000 multi housing units totaling over $100 million. These results stem directly from placing the client’s interest above all others and providing them with current market information and research, allowing them to make the most informed decisions possible.
Over the past several years Rick has been asked to present at such prestigious events such as IREM/CCIM annual Market Forecast, the annual CBRE|Hubbell Market Survey event, the Iowa Landlord Association annual convention among others.
