Professional Experience

Peter Willey has nearly 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has served CBRE for the past 12 years. Peter started his global assignments with CBRE as Global Alliance Director for Dow Chemical, successfully expanding the account and negotiating a contract extension. The McGraw-Hill Companies: Global Alliance Director, New York, NY

  • Peter manages a 10.5 MSF, global portfolio with 275 locations in 40 Countries. Peter has profit/loss responsibility for a US$60M global operational, $120M lease, $30M capital budget, and management of a 110 member CBRE team.

  • Recent Results:  Successfully negotiated a five year contract extension. Annually exceed KPIs and contractual goals including reduction of operational expenses and increased customer satisfaction scores with Management Fee at risk.   • Results: Successfully transitioned full service management to the Global portfolio. Succeeded with all transition timelines and performance goals.

Dow Chemical Company: Global Account Manager, Midland, MI (2005-08)

  • Responsibilities: Profit/loss responsibility for an operational/capital budget of $47M. Oversight of a 5 MSF Global portfolio consisting of: office, manufacturing and R&D facilities. Management of a 60 member CBRE team.

  • Results: Successfully transitioned full management services of the Global portfolio from 1.1-5 MSF. Exceeded all contractual goals including 33% reduction of operational expenses while increasing customer satisfaction with 100% Management fee at risk. Expanded both FM and Project Management services globally and awarded global Lease Administration contract. Acknowledged as one of CBRE's top ten accounts in 2005.

Royal Bank of Canada: Director of Facilities, Raleigh, NC (2004-05)

  • Responsibilities: Operational and profit/loss responsibility for a 4.1 MSF portfolio concentrated in the Southeast and Midwest. Management of a 28 member CBRE team.
  • Results: Successfully transitioned management services including; staff oversight/team focus and multi-platform geographic integration. Exceeded contractual goals and performance milestones that included: $600M cost savings, national consolidation of janitorial/landscaping and uninterrupted service during five hurricanes.
