Perkins Family Restaurants employed CBRE | Memphis to assess their real estate needs for their headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. Perkins, at the time of our initial involvement, occupied 38,000 square feet in a mature office building that was 94% leased. They needed to expand by an additional 16,000 square feet, wanted to establish a long-term location but needed the ability to expand and retract, and wanted to obtain the best possible economic terms.
As a result of CBRE | Memphis’ efforts, Perkins was able to expand and renew at their current location, obtain more favorable expansion rights within the building and obtained a savings in occupancy costs of approximately $2,000,000 over the life of the lease.
