Naila Lapus serves as the Office Services Administrator for the Downtown Los Angeles Appraisal office.
In partnership with Donald Spradlin, Senior Managing Director, Naila oversees activity of over 40 appraisers and administrative staff members ensuring efficient and productive office operations, including financial, personnel and administrative concerns. She develops annual capital and operational budgets, monitors expenses and develops, refines and implements cost controls.
Her extraordinary negotiating acumen; clear, quick thinking; and her ability to anticipate and resolve potential conflicts throughout the region enable her to lay all the necessary groundwork to support the Southern California region's business development strategy and continued profitability.
Ms. Lapus also oversees the smooth flow of office operations, develops streamlined production procedures and crisis management to seamlessly redirect workflow as needed.
Ms. Lapus joined CBRE is in 1998 as the Tax Accounting Supervisor. In this capacity, she successfully managed over $11 million in accounts payable disbursements, while monitoring the accounting and collection of receivables. In 1999, Ms. Lapus moved on as Building Services Supervisor, where she facilitated contract development and renegotiation, supervised personnel, established effective policies and procedures, prepared annual budgets, tracked income and expenses and implemented cost controls. In 2001, Ms. Lapus joined Brokerage and served as Executive Assistant to Lewis C. Horne, Executive Managing Director of CBRE's' Greater Los Angeles Region, and to Nancy Wilhite, Office Services Manager for the Region's 11 offices.
