Professional Experience


Michael Walker, with 15 years of real estate experience, is a Senior Vice President and a partner on the CBRE Northern California Capital Markets Institutional Properties team in the Debt & Structured Finance division. He specializes in placing all types of debt for commercial real estate with an emphasis on the West Coast. Mr. Walker has completed in excess of $10 billion in commercial real estate transactions. He has developed a specialty for sourcing value add and construction financing in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Mr. Walker is one of the youngest inductees to the “CBRE DSF G-20,” a group of thought leaders and top professionals who assist CBRE DSF management with strategic plans and tactical goals.  In 2015, the San Francisco Business Times honored Mr. Walker as a recipient of the prestigious “40 under 40” award, recognizing the most influential leaders across the spectrum of Bay Area business. 

Mr. Walker lives in Orinda, California with his wife Kelly, son Jack and twin daughters, Emma June & Bella Max.
