Professional Experience




Michael Walker is a Senior Vice President in CBRE's Debt & Structured Finance division, located in downtown San Francisco, placing all types of debt and mezzanine financing for commercial real estate throughout the United States. Mr. Walker is one of the youngest inductees in CBRE’s company history to the “CBRE DSF G-20," a group of thought leaders and top professionals that assist CBRE DSF management with strategic plans and tactical goals. Mr. Walker was honored in 2015 by the San Francisco Business Times as a recipient of the prestigious “40 under 40” award, recognizing the most influential leaders across the spectrum of Bay Area Business.

During his 10-year career in CRE Finance, Mr. Walker has completed in excess of $5 billion in commercial real estate transactions. His capital sources include life insurance correspondents, pension funds, international and domestic commercial banks, debt funds, mortgage REITs and Wall Street CMBS investment banks. Mr. Walker has developed a specialty for sourcing structured debt and construction financing in the San Francisco Bay Area.
