Meredith Soren Freese is a Senior Vice President in CBRE Chicago’s Tenant Representation group, joining the firm after the 2014 acquisition of U.S. Equities Realty. In her current role, Meredith represents major office users, both in Chicago and nationally in a broad variety of real estate requirements. Meredith’s experience ranges from representing clients from 2,000 to 400,000 square feet to creating and implementing national real estate strategies to creating financial models to analyzing the impact of major real estate transactions. Her analytical, financial and real estate background brings an important perspective to clients in helping to evaluate and implement short and long term real estate decisions.
Prior to joining U.S. Equities, Meredith was previously at CBRE as a Project Analyst in the Consulting and Corporate Services Division, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic real estate plans, financial analysis, lease negotiations and market research. Meredith’s previous professional experience also includes working as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Tenant Representation division at Jones Lang LaSalle, where she focused on corporate alliance accounts, feasibility studies and complex transactions.
Meredith and team member David Mahoney were nominated by their industry peers as finalist for the Crain’s Chicago Business 2012 “Innovative Deal of the Year” award. In addition, Meredith was a finalist for the 2006 “Broker of the Year” award and the 2011 “Innovative Deal of the Year” award both presented by Crain’s Chicago Business.
