Meredith Frese is a Transaction Manager in the Advisory & Transaction Services practice at CBRE. In this role, Meredith provides global portfolio strategy, scenario analysis, and real estate negotiations and execution. Her focus is on ensuring alignment between business objectives and real estate strategy.
Meredith previously served as a Senior Associate in Workplace Strategy Consulting. Managing data analysis and employee engagement, she has impacted over one million square feet of office space for clients by developing and implementing strategies to improve the workplace experience. Notably, Meredith led the strategy development for Bridgestone’s new 500,000-square-foot headquarters. She has also managed research intensive projects that included utilization studies, executive interviews, employee surveys and focus groups for financial services firms including Wells Fargo, Teachers Retirement System of Texas, Franklin Templeton, Union Bank and Grant Thornton.
In addition to supporting clients in better defining their workplace objectives, Meredith also has significant experience in change management. Meredith helped Nike implement their new workplace program by facilitating technology and digitization solutions and employee engagement and communication plans. She has also led projects in Chicago and Mexico City for CBRE’s own workplace program, Workplace 360 – a global initiative that is transforming the way CBRE employees work which includes a 100 percent free-address and paperless environment where over 80 percent of employees now feel more productive and engaged.
In Meredith’s previous position within Global Corporate Services (GCS), she provided transaction management services for her clients. Her significant assignments include managing leasing transactions for an 11 million square-foot portfolio for the City of New York and financial modeling and business case development for Pfizer.
Prior to joining GCS, Meredith participated in CBRE’s Wheel Program – a highly competitive 18-month rotational assignment program designed to give a select group of young professionals a well-rounded foundation in the commercial real estate industry. She started in the real estate industry in the Manhattan office of the real estate investment advisory and management firm, DRA Advisors. Her role included financial modeling and analysis for a portfolio of over six million square feet of office and retail properties valued at over $950 million.
