Matthew is a Senior Vice President with CBRE's Capital Markets, National Retail Partners, specializing in investment sales. His core focus is the strategic analysis, marketing and sale of single tenant and multi-tenant investment grade retail assets throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
Together with his partner, Brad Lyons, Matthew has successfully completed 83 retail investment sale transactions, totaling over $1.6 billion in value for clients in 12 different western U.S. states. Their transactions have included the sale of Unanchored Strip Centers, Grocery Anchored Centers, Single Tenant Net Lease, Regional Power Centers and REO properties.
Matthew joined CBRE in 2006, and spent five years in the Retail Group, providing leasing brokerage services for national and regional landlords and tenants. During his tenure in retail leasing, Matthew was involved in over 140 transactions, totaling over 1 million SF and valued at over $100 million in transaction volume.
Key institutional clients include Forest City Enterprises, Pine Tree Commercial Realty, GDA, Cole Capital, Kimco, Weingarten Realty and Equity Residential. Additionally, Matt’s key occupier clients included Sprint, Taco Bell, Ford Motor Company, Drive Time Automotive, Goddard Schools, NPC International (Pizza Hut), Nationwide Insurance, Aarons Rents, Citifinancial and Honey Baked Ham.
Matthew received a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major concentration in finance and real estate from Colorado State University.
