Matthew A. Stephens is a Valuation Analyst within CBRE’s St. Louis, Missouri office and is part of the Seniors Housing & Healthcare national practice group. Mr. Stephens began his career in real estate in 2002 and currently provides valuation analysis and consulting services throughout the United States.
Mr. Stephens completed valuation and consulting assignments with an aggregate value over $1.5 billion in 2014 and $1.7 billion in 2015.
In addition to seniors housing, Mr. Stephens has experience with a wide variety of property types including; retail, industrial, office, multifamily, farms, community centers, hotel / motel, schools, off-airport parking, and single family residences.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Stephens was a Senior Appraiser with Grubb & Ellis Landauer from 2010-2012, Vice President of Commercial Appraisal Network from 2002-2010, and owner / manager of Paramount Appraisal Company from 2008-2010.
Mr. Stephens is currently located in the St. Louis, Missouri area and has a two-part practice: valuation analysis of all property types located in Missouri and Illinois and valuation analysis of seniors housing properties across the United States, including; age restricted apartments, independent living communities (ILC), assisted living residences (ALR), skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and continuing care retirement communities (CCRC).
Mr. Stephens currently serves as a coach for three youth sports teams at St. Justin the Martyr in St. Louis, Missouri. He also serves as a board member for the City of Crestwood Economic Development Commission. Mr. Stephens enjoys spending his free time with his wife and four daughters, fly fishing, playing soccer and running.
