Professional Experience

 

As Senior Associate for CBRE, Matt Dunn is responsible for leasing several projects totaling over 1 million square feet of commercial product. These properties include primarily Class “B” and Class “C” suburban buildings as well as neighborhood professional centers. Mr. Dunn is responsible for all aspects of leasing for a vast array of ownership.
 
Mr. Dunn has nearly ten years experience in the commercial real estate field and understands the needs of owners and tenants alike.  While his primary focus is office building owner representation, he also assists his clients with disposition services as well as strategic planning, marketing, and project management.  In the last two years alone, Matt has been involved and completed more than 150 lease transactions totaling in excess of $30 million in cumulative value.

Mr. Dunn Joined CBRE in May of 1999 as leasing manager of a small portfolio of buildings for a national client and quickly assumed additional responsibilities with the company.  Prior to starting with CBRE, Matt developed his real estate expertise with a commercial real estate firm in Atlanta that handled several commercial projects for Pepsico and other national clients.

Achievements

  • Leased 10 office properties for Farmers Insurance from 70% to 90%+ occupancy in 24 months that positioned the portfolio for a profitable sale.
  • Leased a portfolio consisting of 750,000 square feet for Brookfield Corporate Trust in 2006 from 73% to 88% occupancy in less than 10 months and helped facilitate a faster than expected “flip” sale of the portfolio.
  • Leased a portfolio consisting of twelve suburban office buildings for Breof BNK in 2008 from 61% to 92% occupancy in less than 12 months.  This portfolio has recently sold and received numerous offers for the ownership at a premium.
