Mary Jean (“MJ”) Taboloff is a Senior Real Estate Manager for CBRE Asset Services in the San Francisco Bay Area. She currently manages the corporate offices of John Muir Health as well as their outpatient center. Both buildings are located in Walnut Creek, CA. Her responsibilities include managing/participating in the day-to-day operations of the properties, which include medical office practices, data center, parking and occupancy management, space planning, subtenant services, building operations, construction and sublease administration.
Ms Taboloff has been with CBRE since 2006, starting in Atlanta, GA. In Atlanta, she managed a 900,000 square feet of assets located in the city of Alpharetta and the center of Buckhead, one of Atlanta’s vibrant business areas.
Prior to CBRE, she managed properties for Applied Property Services, Inc., in Lafayette, California, which included office, retail and medical building assets. She has a broad range of experience in tenant relations for various property types and has experience working with a LLC-owned property.
Ms. Taboloff holds real estate licenses in California and Georgia. She is currently a member of the Oakland-East Bay Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and is an active committee member to form a Medical Office Building Special Interest Group (MOB SIG). While in Atlanta, in October 2011, she was nominated and served a 2-year term on BOMA Georgia’s Board of Directors as well as serving on various panels and task force groups.
She was actively involved with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and earned the Food Bank’s Volunteer of the Quarter Designation in 2008. Her volunteer spirit also earned her the U.S. Presidential Volunteer Bronze Award annually from 2009 through 2012.
In 2009, she was named Team Player of the Year by CBRE and KBS Realty Advisors, one of CBRE’s major Atlanta clients. Ms. Taboloff was also awarded the 2010 CBRE Real Estate Manager of the Year for the Atlanta region.
