Professional Experience

Markus Kastenholz is a sales and leasing broker with CBRE, specializing in site selection, investment and medical office transactions.  Mr. Kastenholz represents clients in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of office buildings, industrial properties, vacant land, hospitality assets, multifamily properties and retail centers.

Mr. Kastenholz moved to Charleston in 2003 from Naples, FL where he was the Chief Financial Officer for a private real estate investor.  During his tenure, he was involved in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and management of numerous properties.  

During and after college, Mr. Kastenholz served in the Management Advisory Services Department of a large local CPA firm in Cleveland, OH.  Soon into his career, he moved into financial management in the manufacturing sector.  In 2000, he joined a Florida investment group and became intensely knowledgeable about all aspects of real estate ownership and finance.
