Mark Mallus is a Senior Vice President with thirty years of successful experience creating value for CBRE clients.

He is widely recognized as a highly creative real estate marketer, strategist, problem solver and entrepreneur. Mark’s capabilities allow him to efficiently manage, execute and close complex Washington, DC area and multi-market tasks. His encyclopedic knowledge of Washington, DC properties and zoning is well known in the market.
 
Recent assignments procured and executed by Mr. Mallus include:

  •  Purchase of a 235,000 SF office building for conversion and mixed-use
  •  Structuring a joint venture to develop a $24 million downtown Washington, DC site
  •  Acquisition of a Washington, DC office building for Harvard University
  •  Renegotiation of a Fortune 500 company’s 170,000 SF lease in a client’s Dallas, TX office building
  •  Negotiated the acquisition and transfer of 250,000 SF of transferable development rights (TDRs), the largest such transaction ever done in Washington, DC, which created $12.5 million in additional value for his client
  •  Reconfiguration and extension of a full building (135,000 SF) lease in Suburban Washington, DC
  •  Sale/Leaseback of $50 million downtown Washington, DC redevelopment project
  •  Sale of a 3.1 acre income producing site on a major Washington, DC avenue
  •  Sale of a 200,000 SF downtown site for multi-family development
