Len Tiso is a Director of Financial Consulting in CBRE’s Global Corporate Services department. He joined CBRE in July of 2011 and specializes in performing financial modeling and valuation of the most complex commercial real estate lease and ownership structures on either/both transactional and portfolio levels, advising C-suite and Corporate Real Estate executives on significant economic, financial reporting, tax and strategic implications of commercial real estate transactions, portfolio management issues, and KPI reporting and processes, participates in client strategic planning initiatives and shares relevant best practices with clients.
Prior to joining CBRE, Len previously worked at Cushman and Wakefield in Downtown Los Angeles for seven years, most recently as a Transaction Consulting Manager. He also worked within the investment banking, consulting and accounting fields, specializing in the area of mortgage and structured finance, while holding positions with Merrill Lynch, PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG and also held corporate finance, business development and general management positions with Mattel and Educate, Inc. He received his BBA in Accounting from The College of William and Mary. Len obtained his MBA in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Strategy from The UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Len has extensive project, transaction and team management experience and is responsible for the development and implementation of training programs designed for both colleagues and clients. He is a member of the faculty of CoreNet Global teaching Corporate Real Estate Finance where he has attained Top-Rated faculty status on multiple occasions, and is a member of the CBRE Lease Accounting Task Force related to pending lease accounting overhaul and its impact within the commercial real estate industry. Lastly, Len is a licensed CPA in the State of Virginia, a CFA charter-holder, and a licensed real estate broker in California.
