Kim Cornell is a Director of Project Management for CBRE. She works exclusively on the Travelers Insurance account which is a 9.5 million SF portfolio for their field office locations and manages a team of six full time Project Managers (PM’s) and five part-time PM staff to help with field projects. Kim trains the PM’s on the account, manages project assignments and load as well as contributing to process improvements. Kim helped in the creation of the Travelers Playbook and continues to help update and hone the information contained within the document. She also manages her own projects and specializes in multi-phased and restack scopes.
Kim worked nine years for Trammell Crow Company prior to CBRE on various client accounts and primarily Travelers Insurance. Previously, Kim’s experience with large corporate clients ranged from Master Plans, consolidations, square footage standards, furniture standards, product assessment, signage standards and branding to corporate ideas such as Hoteling and Call Centers. She has a solid background in Design, Space planning in addition to Project Management. She worked for industry giants such as RTKL & Associates, Griswold Heckel and Kelley Associates. Kim started her career working in facility departments with large corporations such as Maryland Insurance Group, USF&G Insurance as a project manager and designer.
