Mr. Dennis recently joined CBRE. With over 25 years of experience as Development Manager, Project Manager, General Contractor, and entrepreneur, Kevin has managed a variety of project types, including: office building, office campus, broadcast facility, animation studio, museum, metro station, mixed-use retail, historic theater, cinema, industrial, education, and tenant improvement. He has managed these projects in a variety of geographic locations, including: Northern and Southern California, New York, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, and Texas.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Dennis owned and operated KWDA-inc., a project and construction management services company. His clients included The Walt Disney Company, ESPN, New Economics for Women, Pepperdine University and Kor Realty Group to name a few. In association with Aurora Development, Kevin managed the Broad Contemporary Art Museum and Resnick Pavilion projects at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, as well as Pixar’s new animation studio in Emeryville.
Prior to establishing KWDA, Mr. Dennis was Vice President of Design and Construction at TrizecHahn Development Corporation. Kevin began his career in Washington D.C. / Northern Virginia, managing design and construction projects for Prentiss Properties. Subsequently, he was hired by Disney Development Company to manage development and construction at The Walt Disney Studios.
His experience managing large scale projects to a successful conclusion is largely based on communicating effectively with the wide range of individuals often involved in complex projects. His management skills include strategic planning, contract negotiation, schedule and budget control, municipal approval, quality assurance, and personnel management. Mr. Dennis’ success as a project manager, entrepreneur, and sergeant in the Unites States Marine Corps, reflects his leadership strength in maintaining collective focus on precise planning and effective implementation.
