Keenan Delaney is an Associate for CBRE’s Retail Services Division. At CBRE, Keenan’s main focus is to support the company’s mall-based team and its clients, while navigating the changing needs of retailers within the mall environment and greater retail landscape. Keenan works directly with CBRE’s Retail Occupier Mall Practice leader, Adam Cummings.
Mr. Delaney works with clients to identify, negotiate and secure real estate in optimal retail locations throughout the United States. His team specializes in representation for retailers in malls, lifestyle centers and outlet centers. Keenan prides himself on a direct and honest approach to building relationships with clients.
Prior to joining CBRE in December 2016, Keenan worked for Cummings Retail Consulting Inc. (CRC) as Vice President. During his tenure at CRC, Keenan focused primarily on mall-based expansion strategies for national retailers such as AT&T, Edible Arrangements, Clarks, VILLA-Join the Movement, Bachrach and Torrid, among others. Keenan’s experience working with clients like AT&T has brought him a broad depth of knowledge in the management of large client portfolios as well as exposure to a diverse array of U.S. markets. He has also consulted extensively for clients seeking to expand into Puerto Rico, and has worked with a variety of franchise driven retailers and their corporate entities.
In 2007, Keenan earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and was hired by CRC later that same year. Weathering the economic storm of 2008 and 2009, CRC continued to expand its client roster and maintained steady growth through the sound leadership of President Adam Cummings, all the way to the merger with CBRE in 2016. Mr. Delaney has been a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts since 2010 and received his Michigan broker license in 2017. Keenan is now based in Michigan where he and his wife are raising their two children.
