As a member of the CBRE Tyco account leadership team, Karen Treptow is currently the Sr Facility Manager responsible for the Tyco Integrated Solutions team. Karen’s primary role is that of Facility Manager for the Aurora Tyco Integrated Solutions Campus where she provides day to day service and operational oversight for her clients call center and manages small and medium sized projects throughout the campus. In addition, Karen manages the CBRE Tyco account team responsibilties for 10+ locations in the United States in support of her multi-client alliance director. Karen is currently anticipating a large move project in her facility in support of the Tyco / ADT LLC separation project.
Karen began her career working in critical envionments and commercial office buildings as an electrician. With her natural service and hospitality disposition, she began to hone her skills as an operations manager at several high profile facilities across North America for Johnson Controls. Her operational knowledge, industry background and ability to relate to clients, technicians, and vendors provided her with the perfect skill set to manage their Service North America Operations and Maintenance Program. With these skills, Karen worked with national leadership to develop operational and maintenance standards and processes which she then deployed and supported for several years before joining the CBRE team.
