Professional Experience

Joe Moriarty, with 30 years of real estate experience, is an Executive Vice President and a senior partner on the CBRE Northern California Capital Markets Institutional Properties team.  CBRE’s Institutional Properties professionals are linked to their peers in gateway cities throughout the world and provide investment and advisory services to sophisticated institutional capital. He and his team focus on high-value, equity sales in the San Francisco Bay Area and Pacific Northwest markets. Mr. Moriarty has leased over 6.5 million square feet and has sold over 95 million square feet with transactions totaling over $20 billion. Additionally, Mr. Moriarty has asset managed over 20 million square feet of commercial space throughout the West Coast and in Florida.

Prior to joining CBRE in 2008, Mr. Moriarty was a Senior Vice President/Principal at CPS and held senior positions at BT Commercial Real Estate, South Bay Development, MacFarlane Partners, Aetna Realty Investors and Metropolitan Life Insurance.
