Professional Experience

Jordan Kaplan is an Associate in CBRE’s Retail Services group working with Executive Vice President Eric Gelber to provide real estate advisory solutions and transaction services to some of the most prominent names in NYC real estate.  Jordan brings to the team a broad industry network, a determined approach, as well as a well-rounded and complete understanding of the Manhattan & Outer Boroughs retail real estate landscape.

Before joining CBRE in the spring of 2017, Jordan was an Associate of Retail Services with Cushman & Wakefield where he was involved in strategic planning and the execution of leasing strategies for retailers throughout Manhattan, as well as New York’s outer boroughs—an expertise that brings added-value to his local and multinational clients. Prior to C&W, he worked with Midtown-based Winick Realty Group where he represented both landlords and retail tenants completing more than 25,000 square feet of transactions in Manhattan and Brooklyn in his first two years in the business.

While at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Jordan interned at The Office of Lieutenant Governor Joseph Garcia, where he worked on a simplifying a K-12 Early Childhood Development Policy to make Colorado public schools and enrichment programs function more efficiently. Mr. Kaplan presented the University with original research relating to the evolving role of the Lieutenant Governor in the State over the four prior administrations. Following his experience in the public sector, Mr. Kaplan was with the Coremark Group, a New Jersey-based shopping center developer, where he identified retail acquisitions and development opportunities.
