Professional Experience

Jon Wooton is a Vice President within CBRE's Debt & Structured Finance group in Dallas. Mr. Wooton began his real estate career in 1997; and during this time, he has assisted and completed financing and capitalizations of more than $6 billion for multi-family, office, industrial, retail and hospitality properties, with transactions including permanent, bridge, preferred equity, and mezzanine debt financing.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Wooton was with Archon Financial in Dallas, where he was an analyst with the CMBS lending group, and eventually became an associate in the commercial asset division.

A graduate from The University of Texas in Austin, Jon holds a B.B.A. in finance.  Jon received his CCIM designation in 2005, and is active in The Real Estate Council of Dallas. In addition, Jon was a member of the Real Estate Council’s leadership program, the Associate Leadership Council in 2007-2008.

  • EQR – Goldman Sachs acquisition financing-originated–senior mortgage of $1.065 Billion on a twenty-seven property portfolio that Goldman Sachs purchased from EQR.

  • Richardson Tech Portfolio – flex/distribution portfolio in Richardson, Texas containing 286,000 SF in 5 buildings.

  • Riata Apartment Community – Austin, TX – Secured the largest single asset financing for Freddie Mac in Texas for new owner in excess of $150,000,000.

  • Gateway Student Housing on the campus of USC, LA - 2012.  Secured a Fannie Mae acquisition loan exceeding $100,000,000 for the new owners.

  • Student Housing at UCSB - $45,000,000 – life company placement.
