Jon Tuinstra is the Office Operations Manager for CBRE’s South Bay office. He coordinates with the office’s Managing Director, Myles Helm, to oversee over 60 brokers and 40 staff members. He creates and manages budgets, prepares detailed forecasts and reports, interviews, hires and manages support staff, and analyzes office operations to determine potential improvements in efficiency and productivity. He also partners with the HR, Legal, Procurement, IT and Finance departments to facilitate office operations, as needed.
Jon has worked within CBRE in a variety of capacities. He originally started at CBRE as the Transaction Coordinator in the Commerce office, where he was promoted to OOM. Soon after, Jon transitioned to a role managing the Greater LA/OC region transaction team. He then served as the OOM in the downtown Los Angeles office before transferring to South Bay.
Prior to joining the company, Jon worked in higher education, assembling individual financial aid packages that allowed students to reach their educational goals. His breadth of experience and unique combination of professional skills provides him with the ability to assemble and manage successful processes and practices within an office environment.
