As President, Mountain-Northwest Division, Joe Wallace provides executive oversight for CBRE’s operations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, Sacramento/Reno, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Albuquerque.
Previously, he was the Executive Managing Director for CBRE’s six Bay Area offices, where he oversaw all lines of business, as well as business development strategy and talent management.
With over 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Wallace has held leadership positions in a wide range of real estate services and investment enterprises. Previously, he led CBRE’s Occupier Advisory and Transaction Services practice in the Washington-Baltimore region, where he focused on delivering exceptional outcomes to CBRE clients. From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Wallace served as Senior Managing Director, co-managing CBRE’s Dallas office.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Wallace served as Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of the Preferred Group, LLC, a privately held Washington, DC-based office provider, which he built into a national platform. He also spent time as Vice President at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation earlier in his career and was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of HQ Global Workplaces, an international office solutions company with more than 400 locations globally, where he served from 1997 to 2004.
