Professional Experience

As Vice Chairman, Jeremy Kronman specializes in Asset Leasing and Brokerage, with a focus on value-added, development and re-positioning opportunities. His clients rely, expect and receive professional strategy, guidance and execution on complicated real estate transactions.

Mr. Kronman has spent the last 27 years specializing in Commercial Real Estate and has been responsible for the leasing or sale of more than $9 billion of real estate assets, representing over 1,800 closed real estate transactions for more than 25 million square feet.  Prior to joining CBRE in 2007, he was Executive Vice President at the Soffer Organization, responsible for leasing over 3 million square feet of office and lifestyle developments.  Prior, he was Senior Vice President and Director of Investment Sales at Insignia Oxford, with over 5 million square feet of office space plus 1.5 million square feet of development projects and 500 acres of land sales. Prior, Mr. Kronman was a Vice President of the Trammell Crow Company. He was a senior member of NAI’s brokerage team from 1992-97, and on NAI’s National Investment Council. His career started at Arthur Andersen.

CBRE Pittsburgh has ranked him its #1 broker for eleven consecutive years from 2007 thru 2017, and CBRE consistently ranks him as one of its top brokers nationally including 9 recognition conferences and 4 Colbert Coldwell Circle awards.  He served on CBRE’s National Brokerage Advisory Board thru 2016, and was a Charter member of CBRE’s Agency Office Advisory Council. In 2012, 2010, and 2009 SIOR recognized him nationally for the largest office lease deals of the year. Mr. Kronman was highlighted by Real Estate Forum for the largest lease in the country in 2007, and named by Real Estate Forum as 1 of the top 5 office brokers in the United States in 2008. Locally, he has received more than 30 regional SIOR brokerage awards, and his transactions have been recognized more than 100 times in the Pittsburgh Business Times’ annual list of the Largest Real Estate leases; including 7 times as the largest transaction of the year.

Achievements

Mr. Kronman is also among the 1% of brokers nationally who hold both the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations, and has been published in the national magazines of both organizations as well as industry journals, Bloomberg and The Wall Street Journal.

Mr. Kronman holds a BS in Economics from the University of Michigan, and both a MBA in Finance and a MS in Management of Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business.  He has also completed numerous post-graduate courses, including ‘Running a Private Real Estate Company’ at Harvard’s Graduate Business School as well as “Negotiating Complex Multi-Party Business Deals” at Harvard’s Law School.
