Professional Experience


Jeff Ackemann is Executive Vice President and Southeast Regional Leader of the CBRE Debt & Structured Finance Group (DSF), CBRE’s investment banking arm. In addition to his regional leadership duties, Mr. Ackemann will actively take the lead on the commercial production side of DSF’s practice.

Before joining CBRE, Mr. Ackemann spent eight years working for Jamestown where he was a Managing Director and President of Jamestown Management Corporation. In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Ackemann was responsible for all capital markets transactions and the asset management of an 18.5 million square foot office and retail investment portfolio.

Prior to his employment with Jamestown, Mr. Ackemann had previously served as Director/Office Manager for the former CBRE subsidiary now called Debt & Structured Finance, where he was a Top Producer from 1998 to 2002. Previous to that he served as Senior Vice President and then Partner for Standard Mortgage/Shoptaw James, where he led the office in production seven of 10 years. Since 1990, he has been responsible for more than $14.2 billion in capital markets transactions.

Mr. Ackemann began his career with Coldwell Banker as a Real Estate Analyst in 1981.
