Jean-Francois Gillard is a Senior Managing Director and is the Global Leader for CBRE Global Investment Administration.
Based in Amsterdam, Jean-Francois assumes the overall responsibility over the CBRE Global Investment Administration activities. He leads the GIA global management team and is responsible for the financial performance of the business line. He is also ultimately responsible for the service delivery to the clients and works closely with other CBRE leaders to ensure a seamless and integrated service. His main focus is to build a cohesive and diverse team to drive collaboration among all business lines and geographies. His goal is to leverage CBRE capabilities to deliver a fully integrated service to global investments managers and institutional investor’s clients.
Jean-Francois was previously Chief Financial and Operations Officer of CBRE Global Investors Asia Pacific. He was a member of the Asia Executive Committee and Asia Investment Committee. Before joining ING Real Estate Investment Management (which later became CBRE Global Investors) in 2007, Jean-Francois accumulated more than 15 years of experience in Commercial and Investment Banking. He was a Country Manager of ING Bank for Hong Kong and China between 2003 and 2007. Prior to that, he was Malaysia Country Manager for ING Barings and Board Member of ING Insurance Bhd. He started his career with Bank Brussels Lambert in 1990. He held several positions in commercial banking based in Brussels, Singapore and Malaysia. He continued his career with ING following the acquisition of Bank Brussels Lambert in 1998.
Jean-Francois has a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University de Namur.
