With over 30 years of experience in real estate, property and facilities management, Jim transferred to the Florida Power & Light account in 2003 and became the Senior Facility Manager in 2006 for the Northern Region of Florida. Currently he supervises four Facility Managers and eight Maintenance Technicians while managing the Northern territory that consists of 23 Service Centers and 162 substations. He is responsible for identifying and developing the scope of specifications for major projects including HVAC system and roof replacements, along with mechanical system upgrades, fencing, landscaping, and building renovations while also maintaining a 1.4 million dollar operating budget.
Prior to the CBRE buyout of Trammell Crow in 2006 Jim had worked for Trammell Crow providing service for the University of Pennsylvania from 1997 to 2003 when he then transferred to the Florida Power & Light account. While working at the University, Jim was instrumental in the implementation of a $2.5 million capital improvement budget to modernize older buildings while still preserving their historical design. He also supervised and evaluated a fourteen member maintenance and leasing team, and was responsible for developing and maintaining a $7.5 million operating budget for fifty six sites.
