Iris Horton is dedicated to enterprise planning on the Bank
of America account. Ms. Horton works closely with the client’s leadership to
drive initiatives that optimize the portfolio and workforce location.
Ms. Horton has more than 20 years of management experience,
including 13 years as a corporate real estate executive in the financial
services industry. Her work experience includes customer relationship
management, change and merger transition management, regional portfolio
strategy and optimization.
Prior to joining CBRE, Ms. Horton was a Senior Vice
President in the corporate real estate group at Wachovia Corporation, focusing
on customer relationship management. In a merger-intensive environment, Ms.
Horton balanced the needs of the lines of business with those of the
corporation, contributing to savings of more than $100 million.
Prior to joining Wachovia, Ms. Horton held a number of
finance positions at American Express, where she provided finance, analysis,
consulting and engineering support to business leaders. As a real estate
executive, she focused on increasing profitability through the alignment of
business and real estate planning with corporate strategy. Ms. Horton delivered
savings of more than $150 million through different initiatives, including
portfolio optimization, consolidation, and relocation of operations centers,
development of space standards and alternative workplace solutions.
