Ian Spencer is the Senior Sales Analyst for Salt Lake City’s CBRE office. Within this role, Ian is responsible for the management and maintenance of occupier and investor market databases to support broker pursuits. He partners with sales leaders to ensure ongoing improvement in sales support functions, and partners with Marketing and Research to generate reports for Sales Management. With his extensive knowledge in financial analysis, Ian assists brokers with business plans, pursuit strategies and goal setting. Additionally, he serves as a Salesforce, and other broker technologies, expert and trainer.
Ian began his career in commercial real estate at CBRE in 2007 as a research analyst, and transitioned to roles in sales, finance and operations throughout his professional career. His experience is in logistics and transportation, developing supply chain optimization, overseeing financial departments and reporting key performance indicators, budget development, real estate asset management, and market analysis. Prior to joining CBRE, Ian served as the director of operations & corporate controller in VADovations, Inc.’s Oklahoma City office, where he developed the company’s financial plan and helped the company receive several R&D grants of more than $10 million.
