Howard Kang is a Managing Director and is the America’s leader for CBRE Global Investment Administration. He has been with CBRE for more than 9 years and began his career with the CBRE corporate accounting group back in 2003, joined CBRE Global Investors in 2010, and was involved with the launch of CBRE Global Investment Administration in 2015. He is based out of Los Angeles and manages the entire operations of fund administration services in the Americas for both regional and global investment management clients that are serviced out of the Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Minneapolis offices of CBRE Global Investment Administration.
Prior to running the operations of CBRE Global Investment Administration’s Americas region, Howard’s experience includes managing portfolio accounting at CommonWealth Partners (an investment management partner servicing CalPERS), managing the accounting for several separate accounts as well as the treasury team at CBRE Global Investors, managing property accounting operations at MGP (formerly Maguire Properties a major publicly traded REIT in Los Angeles), managing the US management reporting team of CBRE corporate accounting group. Howard began his career as a senior auditor with KPMG in their Los Angeles financial services practice group.
Howard is a Certified Public Accountant (State of California) and graduated from University of Southern California, B.S. in Accounting.
