As the Financial Analyst on the team of Laurie Lustig-Bower, Haig Malkhasyan is responsible for the initial underwriting of all the properties that the team brings to the market. In this capacity, Mr. Malkhasyan reviews historical income and expense statements and prepares a line item property performance projection. He gathers and analyzes comparable sale information, researches zoning and permitted uses, and performs rent surveys. Mr. Malkhasyan researches land development potential (including meeting with city agencies, reading ordinances etc.) and performs calculations to ascertain probable development size, residential unit count, etc. Once the information is gathered and analyzed, Mr. Malkhasyan makes a recommendation for the asking price and provides his estimate for the sale price range.

Prior to joining CBRE and the team of Laurie Lustig-Bower, Mr. Malkhasyan held real estate analyst positions at Rosano Partners and Roman Group. Over his career, he has underwritten numerous real estate assets for acquisition, refinancing, leasing and development.
Mr. Malkhasyan graduated from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Business Economics.
