Professional Experience



Frank Piasta joined the Dallas office of CBRE Debt and Structured Finance in October of 2014. He has participated in all aspects of debt and structured finance transactions for the major property types with an emphasis on office, industrial and retail assets. As a Financial Analyst, Mr. Piasta’s primary responsibilities include commercial real estate valuation, underwriting, and debt origination. Mr. Piasta and his Debt and Structured Finance team structure various capital arrangements, including permanent debt, bridge debt, subordinate debt, construction financing and joint venture equity. He has participated in the underwriting of over $2 billion of commercial real estate. To date, Mr. Piasta has played a role in the closing and placement of more than $1 billion in loan proceeds and $24 million of joint venture equity. 

Mr. Piasta and his Debt and Structured Finance team represent primarily institutional clients including some of the top pension fund and private equity fund investors in the country. Recent notable transactions include Galleria Office Towers ($200+ million), Park Central 3&4 ($58 Million), Laredo Industrial Portfolio ($50 Million), San Mateo Plaza ($44 million), Pioneer 360 Industrial Portfolio ($38 million), Riverbend Industrial Portfolio ($32 Million), Easton Commons ($29 million), the Aztec Fund Office Portfolio ($33 million), and Arboretum Village ($27 million). 

Prior to CBRE, Mr. Piasta served as an infantry officer in the United States Army where he deployed to Afghanistan as a rifle platoon leader. He is Airborne Ranger qualified and is decorated with the Bronze Star Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
