Professional Experience
Evan Stone is a Senior Vice President within CBRE's Capital Markets Institutional Properties practice. Before joining CBRE, Mr. Stone was with Jones Lang LaSalle and Eastdil in Dallas, Texas, both as Managing Director, where he focused on the sale and financing of commercial real estate, including office, lodging and multi-family product types.
Over the past 22 years, Mr. Stone has completed over $7 billion of sales and debt placement transactions from coast-to-coast with a focus on the Southwest across all property types, specializing in office. Notable transactions in his 30-year real estate career include the sale of Greenway Plaza, Galleria Dallas, Energy Square, Park Central 789, 909 Poydras, Plaza of the Americas, Fairmont Hotel and Post Oak Central, as well as over $400 million of sale/leasebacks for Nortel Networks. In total, Mr. Stone has completed nearly $1 billion of single-tenant and sale/leaseback transactions. Clients of Mr. Stone include Goldman Sachs, Brookfield, CBRE Global Investors, Cisco, Barings, Granite Properties, MetLife, JP Morgan Investment Management and Pan American Life since 2001.
