Elizabeth Rivas is a program manager for CBRE’s Bank of New York Mellon account, working on-site at the Bank’s 101 Barclay Street offices. Ms. Rivas brings a true passion for real estate to her role—a passion that began nearly ten years ago, when she acquired her salesperson license, and continued unabated as she held various roles in the industry while diligently pursuing and finally landing a career at CBRE. She is currently pursuing certificates in Real Estate Finance and Investment as well as Facility Management from New York University.
Ms. Rivas provides high-level administrative support to the CBRE BNY Mellon team: she conducts research and compiles data, prepares statistical reports, fields information requests, performs a variety of clerical functions, assists with technical duties and occasionally trains clerical staff. Additionally, she creates template-based presentation materials such as maps, advertisements and brochures using desktop, graphic and mapping software.
Prior to joining CBRE in July 2014, Ms. Rivas held roles in residential real estate. She was the leasing specialist at Milstein Properties’ latest portfolio, where she worked closely with top executives at client firms such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup and AMEX. For Manhattan Skyline Management, the management arm of the developer Zucker Organization, Ms. Rivas worked as a leasing associate. Most recently, she was office manager/executive assistant at L+M Development Partners, acting as “gatekeeper” to the firm’s general manager, among her many other duties.
Active in the community, Ms. Rivas is head of her co-op board’s art committee and regularly “gives back” through charitable volunteer work.
