Professional Experience


One of CBRE’s top performing real estate professionals, Doug Norton, SIOR, has earned a reputation for his clear, systematic, and thorough approach to business. With more than thirty four years at CBRE, he has completed assignments across the country and acquired national market knowledge. Doug understands the power of relationships and has cultivated a network of key relationships both within and outside of CBRE. He utilizes this network to create teams of brokers that meet the specific requirements of each of his clients.

Doug provides the highest degree of professionalism, insight, and expertise and is pleased to have been entrusted with primary headquarter requirements for firms such as Safeway Stores, Logitech, Men’s Warehouse, Target Stores/Fedco, JC Paper, CoreMark, Omron/STI and ITCI.

 

Doug joined CBRE in May of 1983, after leaving Aetna Life and Casualty. He graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural & Management Economics. His team has consistently been one of the top two teams in Northern California since its inception in 1996. They have completed over 2,000 lease and sale transactions totaling over $3 billion.
