Professional Experience

Donna Whitaker, MAI, AI-GRS, has over 20 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience. Ms. Whitaker oversees the Valuation & Advisory Services Group’s Sacramento office in the Northern California Region. Her primary geographical locations are the Sacramento and the Central Valley areas of Fresno, Stockton, Sacramento, Chico and Redding communities.

Ms. Whitaker is a member of the Retail, Hotel, Mobile Home Park and Multifamily specialty groups within CBRE, is a California Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a member of the Appraisal Institute. Ms. Whitaker has experience providing appraisals, consultations, reviews, rent analyses, tax appeals and is a MAP certified HUD appraiser.

Ms. Whitaker’s experience encompasses a wide variety of property types including multi-family market-rented, affordable housing, tax credit and student housing projects; retail assets that are stabilized, non-stabilized single- or multi-tenanted; industrial projects including R&D, self-storage, warehousing, manufacturing, cold storage and food processing; office projects that are single- or multi-tenanted: including government leased and owned, and medical offices; full-service and limited-service hotels; raw and developed land; residential subdivisions; as well as other specialty assets such as auto dealerships, and mountain resort properties.

Donna Whitaker, MAI, joined CBRE in 1994 and has a long-term tenure appraising projects for this firm throughout Northern California. Ms. Whitaker has a team of seven licensed appraisers working with her to successfully handle a volume of appraisals in excess of 500 properties annually. In 2007, Ms. Whitaker was the first appraiser within CBRE to be presented the “Best Practices” award for her extraordinary client service, quality work and contributions to the National Valuation & Advisory Services platform.​​​​​
