DJ Sandler leads marketing operations for Southern California, including Greater Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Hawaii.
In his position, he heads a multi-discipline team of professionals across the region and works directly with local leadership to position CBRE as the leader in the marketplace and to drive revenue growth through multi-channel initiatives.
As a marketing business partner and adviser to executives and professionals across the area, DJ leads the development of local market value propositions and core messaging through integrated marketing, new business proposals and client-facing presentations. He also collaborates with research and sales management to architect pursuit strategies and key proposal content.
Throughout more than 20 years in marketing and communications, DJ has developed an in-depth understanding of the commercial real estate business and a keen ability to think strategically about marketplace positioning.
Before joining CBRE, DJ was vice president of marketing at JLL, where he led the firm’s marketing team on the West Coast. Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, DJ held marketing leadership roles at Raytheon Co. as well as technology, construction and consumer goods companies. He was the founder and principal of King Max Creative which supported clients such as the City of Seattle and Microsoft. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Seattle University.
