Professional Experience

Demetra Veltsistas serves as the Senior Alliance Director for the General Services Administration account. The scope of services for this national portfolio includes transaction and project management. She is responsible for overall delivery of services including the assurance of contract compliance, key performance indicators, development of annual business plans and capital budgets. She is also responsible for setting operational and financial goals for the management team, supervision of human resource operations for the account, and the maintenance of client satisfaction at all levels.

In addition to her General Services Administration account responsibilities, she serves as the senior relationship manager for the Ciena and FedGov accounts, ensuring all contract requirements, service standards and client expectations are met. Demetra has over 20 years of experience in real estate and related services.

Prior to her current position, Demetra served as the Retail Platform Director of Project Management on the Bank of America account. She led a team of 145 employees and was accountable for all aspects of the retail project programs. The program included staffing, service metrics, project delivery and an annual budget of $600 million.  

Prior to joining CBRE, Demetra held several leadership roles at Bank of America with the most recent role being Market Service Manager in the Northern Virginia market. In this role, Demetra developed and led strategic and tactical plans to achieve all service line objectives to include client satisfaction, cost control, staffing, risk mitigation, budget preparation and management. She also had oversight of the real estate portfolio in her market to include new site location, cost control, renovation and facilities management. She supported the highest growth and most diverse market in her division.​​
