A 20-year CBRE veteran, David Opper is an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office. Since joining the firm, Mr. Opper has represented various Fortune 500 tenants, institutions and privately held companies in the leasing and disposition of real estate holdings.
Mr. Opper is known for his many long-term client relationships, and his ability to strategize on behalf of his clients—combining extraordinary interpersonal and analytical skills to gain customer confidence. On the New Jersey Waterfront submarket, he completed a number of standout transactions such as Bank of America’s 117,000-sq.-ft. renewal, Brown Brothers Harriman’s 115,000-sq.-ft. relocation and Tradeweb’s 65,000-sq.-ft. renewal. Multi-market clients include Quest Diagnostics, BASF, Merck, Hertz, Citizen Watch, NEC and Mercedes Benz. Also, as the New Jersey member of CBRE’s Law Firm Practice Group, he has completed transactions on behalf of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman; LeclairRyan; and K&L Gates. On the landlord side, David has represented numerous high-profile owners, including Mack Cali, L&L Holding Company, SL Green, Cornerstone and Invesco.
Among his many honors, Mr. Opper and his team recently took home the NAIOP Economic Impact Deal of the Year for LG Electronics’ new North American headquarters. In 2010, he was selected for Real Estate Forum’s 40 Under 40. Mr. Opper was chosen as CBRE Broker of the Year in New Jersey multiple times.
