David Godfrey is a Real Estate consultant focused on strategic advisory, sales and marketing located in CBRE’s Long Island, New York office. Mr. Godfrey’s capabilities include client relations, transactions management and market intelligence providing clients with unique solutions for all Real Estate needs.
Specializing in the representation of acquisitions and dispositions for corporate clients with single and multiple locations in evaluating new markets and finding facilities including office, R&D, Training Centers and industrial/logistics buildings and the disposition of existing facilities, Mr. Godfrey has represented clients with local, countrywide and worldwide assignments working with CBRE professionals in each market. Mr. Godfrey has worked with some of Long Island’s largest Landlords, Corporations and Tenants/Purchasers as their exclusive representative in negotiations of purchases, leases, lease renewals and terminations, subleases and 1031 exchanges. Before embarking into the consulting side of Real Estate, Mr. Godfrey began his career in June of 2000 as a Market Research Assistant. His responsibilities in this role included the correlation of a major market report of CBD buildings throughout the boroughs of New York City and Nassau and Suffolk counties on Long Island, thus giving him a thorough understanding of the major markets, emerging market trends and major tenants in the Tri-State.
